What if I'm not sure where or how to cut the music?
On the order form, choose the "You decide the cuts for me" option. Then give us the minimum and maximum running length for your routine in the order form notes. Also identify by time any parts you know for sure you want to keep or eliminate, and we'll work it out from there. It's a good idea to add up the times of the sections you want to keep and make sure they don't exceed the max running length. If we need to add more from what you have chosen to keep, we'll work that out... but we prefer not to figure out what to cut from what you have chosen when it is over the length.

A Note About Vocal Removal Please Read Before Ordering:
We use a special program to attempt to remove the vocals from a song. The results are mixed. Sometimes it is quite good, and other times… not so much. It depends on the music and the way it was mixed. Unfortunately, the only way I can hear it is to do it, so I have to charge for the results, good or bad.

Multiple Routines on one order:
If you have more than one routine, you can fill out the form for each subsequent routine, adding each one to the cart. Once you have them all added to the cart, just checkout using our secure order page.

Pay with your credit card at checkout and you're order will be forwarded to us. We'll make all of the edits and send you a link to download your routine(s). It really is that simple.

Why Have Your Music Professionally Edited

Teachers and students at a quality dance studio spend hours perfecting their dances for recitals and competitions. Students practice their routines in class and at home. Every detail of motion is thought through and perfected. Even small details, from how the dancers enter to how they exit the stage is perfected for the ultimate professional routine. Costume and makeup details are refined to perfection. As the performance gets close, you clean the dance and make sure everyone is dialed in.

If you are spending countless hours and dollars to make everything the best it can possibly be, why wouldn’t you also want to make sure your music, the very foundation of every routine, is as perfect as it can be? Are you really willing to use music that has small glitches, awkward fade-outs, broken counts, and other imperfections? Seamless music can be expertly crafted by a skilled music editor for a small cost.

How Fast Will I Get My Order?

Our standard turn time is 2 business days. Business days are M-F and exclude holidays and weekends.

If you order at noon on Monday, you would get your order by noon on Wednesday. If you order at noon on Friday, you would get your order by noon on Tuesday.

We also offer same day and even a 2 hour rush service. Call us at (801) 676-0807 to make sure rush is available at the time of order.

Can I Send A Link To Spotify or Apple Music?

We need an actual audio file so that we can import it into our software and make the cuts. Links to Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora etc. cannot be used. These are streaming services and we cannot import them into the software to make the cuts.

We can purchase the song for you at a small cost or you can e-mail us the mp3, wav, aiff or m4a file. If you purchased the music online the videos in the first tab can help you to find the file.

If you own the CD, you can use Windows Media Player or iTunes to rip the song off of the CD to one of these standard music files. You can then upload the file to us on the order page.

Can You Remove Cuss Words?

In almost all cases we can remove a cuss word but not always. There are two ways to do it. One way is to replace the phrase with the cuss word with a similar phrase that doesn't have the word. If you choose this method, you'll need to provide us with the times of the offending word and we'll do it as part of your cut.

The other way is with a vocal removal program. This is a new offering. You need to choose Remove Vocal as your choice. It is $5.00 extra for this service. This effectively removes the vocal while leaving the background music intact. It sounds great and is a good option if the offending word is used in the same spot everytime (ie such as it is part of a repeating chorus).

The key is we don't want to lose the counting. There are a few occasions where neither solution works very well. Sometimes it almost draws more attention to the word and even though it is inaudable, we still know what was said. We do our best to accomodate and most of the time we are successful in doing it.

Can You Modify Music for Vocalists or Other Situations?

We can do just about any type of audio editing. We can change the key on Karoake (Minus) Tracks, we can cut the track down even though there are no lyrics. We can slow or speed up the tempo. We can even remove vocals from SOME tracks. If you have a special audio need call us at (801) 676-0807 and we'll be happy to assist you. Pricing will be similar to our routine editing but it is best to call first.

Are There Studio Discount Available?

We are in the process of putting together studio packages that will allow your teachers to use the online system and bill it to a company credit card. There will be discounts available depending on the number of routines you want to cut each year. Call us for details at (801) 266-3689
